Watch for Dead Irons #1 which is due to ship in February 2009 from Dynamite Entertainment. Issue #1 features a cover by Jae and, maybe even more importantly, the interior art is under the direction of the man himself. Although not drawn by Jae (Jason Shawn Alexander does the work), the artwork is drawn in Jae's signature Gothic style.

What's it about??? Does it matter??? Well... it's a western... we have bounty hunters... we have zombies... what's not to love??? Check it out.

Also, if you happen to be near a comic shop participating in the midnight launch (September 10), you may want to consider going. Marvel is producing a special variant (gatefold cover with keyhole) that will only be available at this event.

Unfortunately for my fellow Canadians, I have been informed that this event is occurring in the US only.
